Tampa Jewish Family Services relies on the generosity of individuals, local businesses and the broader community to support our mission to provide vital, quality and innovative social programs to people in need. The 2011-12 Friends’ Campaign began September 12, 2011, with letters mailed to more than 850 supporters - individuals and businesses – whose contributions allow TJFS to help those facing life’s challenges. At Tampa Jewish Family Services, we never turn anyone away. But we need your help. Would you please help one of our families for a month or even a year?
$58 for a month of food bags - $696 for one year
$154 for a month of counseling – $1,848 for one year
$250 for utility financial assistance – $3,000 for one year
$300 for monthly Tikvah Talk program for parents with special needs children - $3,600 for one year
$550 for rent assistance – $6,600 for one year
The impact we had on the Tampa community this past year is impressive. We touched more than 7,000 lives by providing 1,400 counseling sessions, 4,000 bags of food, 1,000 referrals for assistance, as well as distributed $12,000 in interest-free loans. It is easy to become a TJFS’ Friend. You can choose to be billed monthly on your credit card, or make a one-time donation, any amount you choose to donate will be accepted with heartfelt appreciation.
